The tall ST19 Edison shape is meant for open pendants, bare sockets, and exposed fixtures where the bulb is the fixture. Amber glass and a 2200K glow give the golden, café-style warmth people put these bulbs in on purpose, and it dims for the mood.

This is a real, visible filament, the warm vintage look people love, but it is LED inside.
