We built the factory they said couldn't exist.

For over a century, America made its own light. Then, one plant at a time, it all went overseas. The experts in our own industry agreed on one thing: it was never coming back. Too hard. Too expensive. Too late.

We didnโ€™t argue. We put our heads down and got to work.

And we built it.

We made three buildings into one

It began as three separate buildings, on three separate addresses, sitting side by side. We tore down the walls that divided them and raised new ones where they belonged, until three became one.

Then we built offices into the North and South ends and cut twelve windows into the walls between the offices and the floor. Look through any of them and youโ€™ll see American bulbs being made. We donโ€™t hide the work. We put it behind glass.

You canโ€™t build precision electronics in a drafty steel shell. So our founder sealed it from the roofline down and insulated it end to end. Then he painted all of it. In the factory, static-proof paint on the walls, because a single spark can kill the components inside an LED. Everywhere else, every wall, ceiling, and door, from the shipping dock to the warehouses to the offices, got painted too. We didnโ€™t leave a single surface the way we found it. Then came the floors: static-proof epoxy in the factory, standard epoxy in the warehouse.

With the shell sealed and grounded, our engineer brought in the systems that run it: power, HVAC, precision temperature and humidity control, and the compressed-air lines that drive every machine on the floor. A few degrees or a little moisture is the difference between a bulb that lasts and one that quits early. In Americaโ€™s light bulb factory, nothing is left to chance.

Then we brought it to life.

It starts at the SMT line, surface-mount technology, where the tiny components of every LED are placed directly onto the circuit board, faster and more precisely than any human hand could. And that board is ours, designed and engineered in-house.

The bulb is also ours. We had a custom LED A19 mold built for our automation line. This isnโ€™t a copy of a bulb made overseas. Itโ€™s a different bulb, and a better one, engineered from the start to be made by machine.

From there, automation builds each bulb and carries it into its package. At the end, robots stack the finished pallets, ready to ship.

This is the line the major brands walked away from. The ones with billions of dollars and buildings full of engineers who decided it couldnโ€™t be done.

Itโ€™s running today. A driven founder and six North Dakotans built it. People who got tired of watching the biggest names in lighting make excuses, cut corners, and quit on America.

There was no playbook for this. Nobody hands you the blueprint for building a light bulb factory in a country that stopped making them. So our founder traveled the world to see how light bulbs were made. And everywhere he went, he saw a better way to do it.

We didnโ€™t copy anyone. We studied how the entire world makes light bulbs, and we found a better way.

We built the most advanced light bulb factory in the world.

The playbook is ours now. Every step documented, a repeatable system we can run again and again. Thatโ€™s what makes what comes next more than a promise.
