GoodBulb announces support for COVID-19 relief efforts

light bulb is changing the world

As light campaigns take off, GoodBulb uses lightbulb proceeds to support families in need, this time working with Convoy of Hope:

GoodBulb is proud to announce that proceeds from our blue and green light bulb sales will be going to benefit Convoy of Hope's Covid 19 relief efforts.

Recently, we’ve been sharing about the creative way people are using light o spread hope amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Light bulb campaigns promoting a color of light have seen tremendous support, historic landmarks such as the Seattle space needle, Los Angeles Coliseum, Niagara Falls in New York, and over 400 other venues light up blue in a nationwide show of support for healthcare and other frontline workers.

Green light, known as the color of compassion, is being used as a way to honor victims of Covid 19 spearheaded by Kentucky governor, Andy Beshear.

“Light has long been used as a way to show support for causes you care about in a bold, bright way,” said GoodBulb CLO, Tom Enright. “As a lighting company, we love any opportunity to use light in a way that makes a positive impact.”

As more and more people are purchasing blue and green lightbulbs to show their support, we recognized an opportunity to live out our GoodBulb core value, #BeGood, and support the global response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

making a difference

GoodBulb has chosen to use proceeds from blue and green light bulbs to support Convoy of Hope, a non-profit with a goal to provide 10 million meals to families across America that have been hit hardest by COVID-19. Earlier this month, Convoy of Hope announced that already over 5 million meals have been distributed.

“Our effort to distribute 10 million meals across the United States is well underway,” Convoy of Hope president Hal Donaldson. “Our fleet of tractor trailers continue to criss cross the nation to deliver food and emergency supplies to children and families who have been hit hard by the recent crisis. Thank you in advance for caring and giving to this united act of compassion.”

“GoodBulb was founded on the principle of ‘Be Good.’ Our mission is to offer good savings, support good causes, and provide good education,” GoodBulb founder Tom Enright said. “In the midst of a pandemic, it is a privilege to continue supporting good causes as we battle COVID-19 together.”

For those who would like to support frontline workers or honor victims of COVID-19, we would love to supply you with GoodBulb LED blue and green light bulbs.
