Time to PARtay!

PAR is an acronym for Parabolic Aluminized Reflector. PAR bulbs utilize a parabolic mirror in order to concentrate their light output into a focused beam for wide flood, regular flood, and spotlight angles, making them a much more precise option for deirectional lighting than, say, a BR (Bulged Reflector) bulb. Much like a BR bulb, however, a PAR bulb's diameter is determined by the numerical value following its acronym. The size can be found by measuring the diameter from the widest point of the bulb in 1/8 of an inch increments. For example, a PAR20, as seen in the listings above, would have a diameter of 20/8" - or 2.5".

PAR LED bulbs, like those made by GoodBulb, can be found in a variety of applications in both residential and commercial settings. Light Bulb Moment

Blue light interrupts the human body’s ability to produce melatonin, the sleep-inducing hormone that allows you to drift off and stay asleep throughout the night. This is an issue because of how heavily reliant we have become on technology that constantly gives us a direct dose of this blue light right into our retinas, day in and day out. This causes sleep deprivation, irritability, memory deficits, impairment, delayed responses, and in some cases can cause debilitating insomnia - which if severe enough can cause you to go bonkers and can impact your health in such serious ways (anxiety, rapid mood swings, difficulty staying alert, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, obesity, diabetes, and exacerbation or onset of mental illness, to name a few) that it could bring on an early demise.
