Welcome to the wonderful world of LED. With a longer than average life, extreme energy savings, and superior color rendering you can install these tubes, sit back and enjoy the light. If you plan on enjoying an adult beverage then we recommend a homemade margarita. The best recipe calls for an equal mix of fresh-squeezed lemons and silver or blanco tequila, a splash of agave, and pour over ice.

Back to the Hybrid LEDs even though I'm thinking about a margarita and I should for the Hybrid LED tubes are the best of the best. They are the perfect LED and some would call this bulb the future of LED. It works with or without a ballast. You can pick the easy way of installing led tubes which involves removing the old fluorescents and screwing in the new LEDs for these to work with the ballast easy, right, or you can make the job a little harder and direct wire the led tubes. This involves removing the ballast for the LEDs operating from the line voltage that flows directly into the sockets. This may require an electrician if the job makes you nervous.

Bypassing the ballast is the recommended way to install Hybrid LED tubes...why you ask? Because nothing great ever comes easy. If you go the plug n play route then you are relying on the ballast that is going to fail eventually. When that ballast fails, you will either need to replace the ballast or direct wire the LED. A faulty ballast can also hurt the tube and we love our bulbs - we don't want anyone to get hurt. That's why we love these hybrids, they can be direct-wired either single or dual-ended eliminating the ballast. Eventually, this will need to be done so you may as well do it right from Day 1.

Thanks again for listening and if you have any questions just call a lighting specialist at GoodBulb 1.701.205.4953 and please share any good margarita recipes if you have one.
